po logiki naj ne bi, saj ne brises mape, apmak samo priucene podatke. Je pa podoben postopek za bencinarje. Novejsim lahko sicer te priucene podatke zbrises z examinerjem.

Some methods which you can use to reset your ECU & throttle:
Using the Examiner to reset your ECU
Get your mechanic to use the Examiner to reset your ECU (unless of course you have one at home lar)
Start the engine but do not touch the throttle and let the car idle for 15 mins otherwise the car will not rev freely afterwards
Turn the car off and leave for 10 mins
Start the car and take her for a blast
Manual process
Disconnect the negative lead from the battery for a minimum of 45 minutes. Some people recommend overnight but that is not really necessary.
Reconnect the battery negative lead
Put key in ignition, turn to MAR and leave for 90 secs
Turn off the ignition, but not remove the key and leave for 90 secs
Start the engine but do not touch the throttle and let the car idle for 15 mins otherwise the car will not rev freely afterwards (as V6 owners know at their peril)
Turn the car off and leave for 10 mins
Start the car and take her for a blast
Note:
Blue = ECU Reset
Orange = Throttle reset
For the more impatient folks:
For step 1, disconnect cables from battery and just apply a wire across the positive and negative wires (NOT on the battery!) to clear any residual memory/charge - you don't then need to wait 45 mins!

mene pa mal zanima glede tega ecu-ja, k se glih ne spoznam na to preveč (vem pač da je to rač. ki računa koliko bencina, zraka in ostalih stvari ubrizgava). 6.točka mi ni najbol jasna, a po ga pol peleš po različnih terenih oz cestah na polno al normalno vožnjo?
Jaz sicer ta postopek uporabljam, ko odklopim akumulator.
Uporabno je tudi v primerih, da se zamenja kak problematičen del (MAF, lambda, ...), da se ECU hitreje nauči delat s pravimi podatki.
PS
Ne preveč komplicirat s tisto vožnjo, jaz se velikokrat sploh nisem nikamor peljal, ampak samo ugasnil, naslednje jutro pa se normalno odpeljal v službo.
