Obuditev Duetta in Giulie, 2010-2012

Alfa Romeo Duetto (947)
In 2010 AR will return in it's tradition.According to Luca Cordero di Montezemolo AR will rebirth the legendary Rwd spider duetto.So we will see Duetto(947) & Giulia GT Sprint(947 Sprint) until 2010....in 2012 AR will present the Rwd successor of 159...Gulia.Based in the evolution of premium platform and the engine fitted in longitudinal position (front/centre)...it will be also available as 4wd with the gearbox in the rear axle for top versions or in block.There will be two versions of the premium platform evolution...the one for 941 (new 166)/Quattroporte and the simple one for 947 in order to keep the costs low for medium range of AR models.In order to be light it will make mass use of STR18 (magnesium/steel chassis) and synthetic materials in top versions....it will be larger than Bmw Z4 which is a small roadster...a little shorter than a Brera Spider but with same width and lower to the ground.

This is centro's stile study for a rwd spider infuenced by duetto.



Alfa Romeo Gulia GT (947)
This is one of the three rwd models that we will see until 2010 with the flagship (941) & the new Duetto (947).It shares same mechanical parts with new Duetto but it will have longer wheelbase.

947 Sprint:Giulia Sprint GT Coupe 4+1,Rivals:3 coupe,A5,CLK

947 Gulia GT and 947 Duetto will be both presented in 2010 in order to celebrate 100 years of Alfa Romeo.After the debut of those 2 new models it is possible that Fwd versions (entry level) of Brera/Spider will be cancelled and their production will continue until 2012 only as 4wd.
